The 48-capillary sequencer is the gold standard in medium-to-high throughput genetic analysis. A wide variety of applications can be performed:
- Sanger Sequencing (∼600bp reads)
- Fragment analysis: Microsatellite, AFLP, SNP (∼700bp reads), Cell Line Authentication
